Michael Cline Fandango Founder Death: 64-year-old Founding Partner, Accretive LLC Co-founder Fandango Michael Cline has been identified as the man who died tragically at Midtown Hotel. According to police, Michael Cline passed away from an apparent suicide from jumping.

The deadly incident happened at the Kimberly Hotel located on East 50th Street near Lexington Avenue. The Palm Beach, Florida resident was a father of six and a millionaire.

According to insiders and cops, the man who jumped to his death from a fancy hotel in Midtown this week is the affluent co-founder of the pandemic-plagued movie ticket company Fandango. J. Michael Cline, a 64-year-old “serial entrepreneur” and father of six who lives in Greenwich, Connecticut, fell from the 20th floor of The Kimberly Hotel and landed in a third-level courtyard Tuesday morning, according to law enforcement sources.

According to the sources, Cline, who was also a managing partner at the startup-funding business Accretive, wrote an apparent suicide note before jumping from the East 50th Street building near Lexington Avenue. The note’s contents were not immediately revealed Wednesday. Cline possessed multimillion-dollar homes in the Hamptons and Palm Beach.

Michael Cline’s obituary and funeral arrangements will be released by the family.
