Patrick Montgomery and Andrieana Montgomery Death: Durham police are naming the two victims murdered in a shooting in Oshawa. Patrick Montgomery, 42, and Andrieana Montgomery, 42, were discovered dead at two separate homes Saturday afternoon.

Patrick Montgomery was a former Oshawa General, and Andrieana Montgomery was an arts and music teacher at Bowmanville High School. Around 12:35 p.m., police received reports of gunfire near Jane Avenue and Glenforest Street, as well as Fernhill Boulevard and Rossland Road. When they arrived, they discovered the man who had been shot. He died before being taken to the hospital.

Police obtained information that directed them to a secondary address on Glenforest Street. They discovered the woman inside, and she was declared dead at the scene. A man was arrested at the second residence without incident. The suspect has been identified as Mark Gordon, 30, of Oshawa, and charged with two counts of first-degree murder. Police said the suspect knew both victims, but the motive for the murders is still being examined. They highlighted that it was not a domestic issue. Patrick Montgomery’s obituary and funeral arrangements will be released by the family.
